Carve out some space and honor this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is a new moon ritual inspired by the wisdom of the menstrual cycle and moon rites:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Create a Sacred Space<\/strong>: Find a quiet place where you feel comfortable and undisturbed. You may wish to dim the lights, light a candle, or play gentle music.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ground Yourself<\/strong>: Sit comfortably and take several deep breaths. Feel your body supported by the earth. You may wish to lay your hands against your heart and listen, or reach your hands down to the earth and listen, as a way to reconnect with your own sacred space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Set Intentions<\/strong>: The new moon is a time for new beginnings. Reflect on what you wish to bring forth in your life. Write down your intentions or desires for this new cycle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Release What No Longer Serves<\/strong>: The new moon is also a time to shed parts of your life and being that no longer serve you. Take a moment to be ruthlessly honest with yourself about what you need to let go of. Life is an endless cycle of death and rebirth.  You cannot begin anew without carving space in your life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Connect with the Moon\u2019s Energy<\/strong>: Visualize the moon above you. Ask for guidance from the spirit within you and around you. Let go of the negative and open yourself to evolve into your highest self.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Close with Gratitude<\/strong>: Give thanks to the earth that holds you, the sky that enfolds you, and the moon that guides you. Remember, you are your own sacred space and your life is a living prayer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This ritual honors both the cyclical nature of the moon and the wisdom of the feminine, inviting you to co-create a life in alignment with natural rhythms and your own inner truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*<a href=\"https:\/\/www.elephantjournal.com\/2013\/11\/seems-to-me-you-have-given-up-on-god-mary-jesus-taken-up-with-the-occult-karen-moon\/\">From a post that I wrote in 2013<\/a> when all of this started for me &#8211; Caryn<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The moon that reflects the light of the Sun confirms throughout the month, as it waxes and wanes, that the created order is not chaotic. Its visible rebirth each month is very orderly and precise but not absolutely predictable. Therefore, each month has a degree of expectancy about it.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, I like that paragraph as I think that it describes life accurately.
