Based on Celtic mythology (although found in many different cultures often with variations of ‘what wave’ …) but that the 9th wave is stronger, bigger, more challenging. Once you get beyond it, you are in the Land of .. well, one version is the Land of Women. I like that version lol but we need our men too — most important part is, you are in a … New World. A Better World.
We are obviously going through that Ninth Wave right now!!!
#theNinthWave The Ninth Wave Collaboration is a venture I have done on the divine feminine app where you are put in ‘boats’ of 8-9 women/organizations (need to have a ‘global’ CTA – a book, a retreat, an organization, online courses, etc.)
And then we help each other ROW faster, stronger, farther: we go on each others podcasts, get involved with their courses, talk about their work to our audiences … no cost although I do ask if you can afford that you become a member of the divine feminine app which is $13.99 a month as your work will be featured in newsletters, etc.
For my part, I put out three newsletters featuring your ‘boat’ to our community of almost 12,000.
Organizations with larger reaches like Womancraft Publishing, Phyllis Curott, ASWM Women and Myth … are just asked to mention the Ninth Wave 3 times in a 9 month period.
It is as you often find in life, that you will get out of it, what you put into it.
And it is also this concept that in the New World it is not greed and competition that fuels us, but collaboration and communication.
In this time of ‘overwhelm’ there are no hard, fast requirements to this. The result of just throwing a little extra energy towards each other is magical. We are women who have ‘heard this call’ and put tons of time, energy, money into developing our communities and our work. Just gathering together, we learn tips, suggestions, etc. And it most definitely has made social media a way friendlier place to consistently cross paths with my other Ninth Wavers!
We have a monthly gathering, not mandatory, but I”m going to tell you its my favorite meeting of the month (and heard that from others too). It IS that new world, and I normally have to peel myself off the ceiling after the call as I find it so motivational to be in a zoom room of women/organizations who have also been doing Ancient Moms work to a world that better takes care of each other, allows each other … I”m not being Polyanna-ish, Ancient Mother is fierce and demands respect. But Matriarchy / Partnerism whatever you want to call it, – it is time in our Huperson evolution that we put our time, money, energy into providing the basics for all – food, water, shelter, companionship, purpose … instead of putting Trillions of dollars into killing each other.
It’s time to put the women in charge.
